8 Tips to Gorgeous Skin

The secret to gorgeous skin? Although we provide you with a general guideline at the end of this blog, one of the many keys to gorgeous skin is consistency and the right products.

Our mom founder of Syllys of Switzerland is a prime example. But how do you know if the products you are using are compatible with your skin type or skin concern(s)? With so many products to choose from, seasons changing, skin changing, it becomes such a guessing game. This is when skin care professional such as a licensed esthetician can help. Unfortunately, you can’t always go to see one.  As a family business of licensed estheticians with over 100 years of combined experience, we are here to help and better guide you with your skincare needs and concerns.

Although gorgeous skin is sooo much more than applying topical products we know we can help you improve your skin and/or if you are one of those busy individuals we know we can help you simplify your routine so you can be consistent during those hectic times.

In this photo our mom is 70 years old, no facelifts or any type of injections were ever done. Regular skin care services and consistent use of skin care products were her secrets.

 8 Tips to Gorgeous Skin

  1. Cleanse your skin daily especially in the evening.
  2. Depending on your skin exfoliate 1-3 times a week.
  3. Treat and protect your skin daily.
  4. We are what we eat; eat as healthy as possible with a focus on roughage.
  5. Most of us are dehydrated, drinking plenty of water is a must. It was once recommended by my health practitioner to drink at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water. Did you know substances like coffee, alcohol also contributes to skin dehydration? Therefore, adding an extra cup of water for each glass we drink of either of these substances was also highly suggested.
  6. Exercising 3-4 times a week for at least 10 minutes a day will bring fresh oxygen and nutrients to your skin and contribute to a more radiant you.
  7. Beauty Sleep! We don't call it beauty sleep for nothing. I love how WebMD defines it “sleep may be the closest thing there is to a fountain of youth” The reason being is when we sleep we find life-saving repair work in our bodies for the health and well being of our skin.
  8. Be consistent with your skin care.
